Title IX Policy: Generally, the Office of Title IX receives the initial report in order to share information about reporting options and supportive measures. If the initial report proceeds to a campus investigation, the Office of Title IX will refer the matter to SCCS.

Office of Title IX
The Office of Title IX (OTIX) receives reports of sexual harassment (including sexual assault, dating and domestic violence, and stalking), sexual exploitation, and retaliation. OTIX refers complaints for campus investigation under the Student Code of Conduct to Title IX Investigators in Student Conduct & Community Standards.

974-HELP (Student Distress Line)

Students can refer themselves or a fellow Vol if they are experiencing symptoms of distress. Faculty and staff can refer students who may be exhibiting concerning behavior. Care coordinators will reach out to the impacted student within one business day.

Basic Needs Support

During these consultations, students work closely with a member of our team to access and utilize both campus and community resources. Our goal is to set up each student for long-term basic needs security by empowering them with the necessary support and tools to thrive.
